I have made a covenant

내가 계약(언약)을 맺고

with my chosen,

내가 선택한 이와

I have sworn

나는 맹세했다

unto David

다윗

my servant,

나의 종에게

Thy seed

그대의 씨를

will I establish

내가 굳게 세우며

for ever,

영원히

and build up thy throne

그대의 왕좌를 세울 것이다

to all generations.

모든 세대에게

Selah.

And thou shalt do that

그대는 행하시오

which is right

옳고

and good

선한 것을

in the sight of the LORD:

주님 보시기에

that it may be well with thee,

이것은 그대가 잘되기 위함입니다

and that thou mayest go in

또 그대가 들어가서

and possess

차지하기 위함입니다

the good land

그 아름다운 땅을

which the LORD sware

주님께서 맹세하셨던

unto thy fathers,

그대의 아버지들에게

Ye shall not go

여러분은 가지 마시오

after other gods,

다른 신들을 따라

of the gods of the people

(곧) 백성의 신들을

which are round about you;

여러분 주위에 있는

이는

the LORD thy God

주 그대의 하나님께서는

is a jealous God

질투가 많으신 하나님이시니

among you)

여러분 가운데서

lest the anger of the LORD thy God

주 그대의 하나님의 진노가

be kindled

불붙어

against thee,

그대를 거슬려

and destroy thee

그대를 멸하지 않도록 하시오

from off the face of the earth.
