Thou shalt not have

그대는 가지지 마시오

in thy bag

그대의 가방 안에

divers weights,

여러 개의 저울추들을

a great and a small.

크고 작은

Thou shalt not have

그대는 가지지 마시오

in thine house

그대의 집에

divers measures,

여러 개의 되를

a great and a small.

크고 작은

For

이는

all

모든 자와

that do such things,

그와 같은 것들을 행하는

and all

모든 자는

that do unrighteously,

불의하게 행하는

are an abomination

가증한 것입니다

unto the LORD thy God.

주 그대의 하나님께

And they shall turn away

또 사람들은 돌이켜

their ears from the truth,

자기들의 귀를 진리에서

and shall be turned unto fables.

여러 우화로 돌아설 것입니다

But watch thou

그러나 그대는 깨어

in all things,

모든 일에서

endure afflictions,

고난을 견디며

do the work

일을 하며

of an evangelist,

전도자의

make full proof

온전히 입증하시오

of thy ministry.

그대의 사역을

Preach the word;

(그대는) 말씀을 선포하시오

be instant

절박하게

in season,

때에 맞든지

out of season;

맞지 아니하든지

reprove,

책망하고

rebuke,

꾸짖고

exhort

권면하시오

with all longsuffering

모든 오래 참음과

and doctrine.

교리로

the time will come

때가 이르러

when they will not endure

사람들이 견디지 못하고

sound doctrine;

건전한 교리를

but after their own lusts

오히려 자기들의 정욕대로

shall they heap

그들은 많이 쌓아 둘 것입니다

to themselves

자기들에게

teachers,

선생들을

having itching ears;

귀가 가려워서
