Wherefore

이러므로

Levi hath

레위는

no part

몫이나

nor inheritance

상속이 없다

with his brethren;

그의 형제들과 더불어 (나눌)

the LORD is his inheritance,

주님께서 그의 상속이시다

according as the LORD thy God

주 그대의 하나님께서

promised him.

그에게 약속하신 대로

But I suffer not

오직 나는 허락하지 않습니다

a woman to teach,

여자가 가르치는 것을

nor to usurp authority

혹은 권위를 행사하는 것을

over the man,

남자 위에서

but to be in silence.

오직 잠잠해야합니다

For Adam was first formed,

이는 아담이 먼저 지음을 받고

then Eve.

그 다음에 이브이기 때문입니다

And Adam was not deceived,

아담이 속지 아니하고

but the woman

being deceived

was in the transgression.

I exhort therefore, that,

first of all,

supplications,

prayers,

기도와

intercessions,

중보와

and giving of thanks,

감사를 드리기를

be made for all men;

모든 사람을 위해

For kings,

왕들과

and for all

모든 사람들을 위해

that are in authority;

권력에 있는

that we may lead

이것은 우리가 살기 위함입니다

a quiet and peaceable life

평온하고 평화스러운 삶을

in all godliness and honesty.

신성(神性)함과 정직한 모든 것으로
