And without controversy

논쟁의 여지가 없이

great

위대합니다

is the mystery of godliness:

신성(神性)함의 신비는

God was manifest

하나님께서 나타나시고

in the flesh,

육체로

justified

의롭게 되시며

in the Spirit,

성령 안에서

seen of angels,

천사들에게 보이시고

preached

선포되시며

unto the Gentiles,

이방인들에게

believed on

믿게 되고

in the world,

세상이

received up

올리심을 받으셨습니다

into glory.

영광 가운데로

This is a true saying,

이것은 참된 말입니다

If a man desire

어떤 남자가 바란다면

the office of a bishop,

감독의 직분을

he desireth a good work.

그 사람은 선한 일을 바란다는 것입니다

A bishop

감독은

then

그런즉

must be blameless,

반드시 책망 받을 것이 없으며

the husband of one wife,

한 아내의 남편이며

vigilant,

깨어있고

sober,

냉철하며

of good behaviour,

좋은 행실과

given to hospitality,

손님 대접에 힘쓰며

apt to teach;

가르치기를 잘하며

And the seed of Israel

이스라엘의 씨가

separated themselves

자신을 분리하며

from all strangers,

모든 타국인에게서

and stood

일어서서

and confessed

자백했다

their sins,

자신들의 죄와

and the iniquities of their fathers.

자기 조상들의 불법을

And they stood up

그들이 서서

in their place,

자기 자리에

and read

낭독했다

in the book of the law

법의 책에서

of the LORD their God

그들의 하나님인 주님의 (법의 책에서)

one fourth part of the day;

낮의 1/4 동안

and

그리고

another fourth part

또 다른 1/4 동안에는

they confessed,

그들이 자백하고

and worshipped

경배했다

the LORD

주님을

their God.
